Rental Terms

AGE REQUIREMENT:
Minimum age of 23 years.

PAYMENT METHOD:
For all categories the tenant can present a credit card accepted by Fotiscars.gr or cash.

DRIVING LICENSE:
The driver must hold a driving license for at least one year.

MINIMUM RENTAL:
After the agreed lease expires, Fotiscars.gr allows the renter a grace period to return the car up to 120 minutes without any charge. Upon expiration of the above grace period, the tenant will be charged at least at the cost of 1/2 additional day.

FINES:
All fines and administrative penalties due to the driver’s fault are fully borne by the tenant.

INSURANCE:
Drivers are insured with third party liability for death, personal injuries and material damage. Coverage is subject to the general terms of the Fotiscars.gr contract with the insurance company.

DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY:
The tenant’s liability for damage to the rental vehicle may be limited, provided that the road traffic regulations is not violated. In case of breaches of the road traffic regulations, and fault, the renter indemnifies fotiscars.gr for the damage it has caused.

THEFT PROTECTION COVER:
There ist no theft protection cover for the rented car, the tenant compensates the value of the rented car to Fotiscars.gr.

DRIVER’S COVER:
Compensation in the event of death, total/partial disability up to € 15,000 for the driver. Coverage is subject to the general terms of the Fotiscars.gr contract with its Insurance Company.

FUEL POLICY:
The customer has to prepay the cost of the amount of gas contained in the tank of the rented car upon delivery when the amount is lower compared to pickup.

CHANGES OF CAR TYPE:
The company reserves the right, depending on the availability, to provide a different type of car than the ordered one with a corresponding, or larger, category.

RECEIVING-DELIVERY:
Any pick-up / delivery within the city of Mytilene is not charged. Out-of-town charges are made after consultation.

TRANSPORT BY SHIP:
Only with the prior written permission of Fotiscars.gr. No damages to the rented car during transportation will be covered by any insurance.

TAXES:
All prices and charges on the form include VAT.
